Part of the Jeep Thing doesn't have to be living with mud all over the inside of your Jeep. I'm sure some would disagree, but we all have our own personal levels of dirt we can stand. When I purchased my Jeep, the previous owner had a set of fabric mats for the front and back. While fabric mats work great for a car, I don't believe they belong in a Jeep. I prefer the rubber style mats that can be removed, hosed off, laid out to dry and put back in looking as good as new.

I purchased a set of front floor mats at my local auto parts store, but couldn't find anything that would fit the rear seat area. Most were just little pieces of rubber that fit in the wells, but these are fairly ineffective because almost everybody who rides in the back will put their feet on the center hump. For this reason, I purchased a rubber floor mat for the rear seat from 4WheelDrive (www.4wd.com). The mats are made by Factory Jeep® and 4WD's price was $36.99.

I've had the floor mats in for the summer and I'm almost all postive. On a postive note, they look good! All black with the Jeep logo. It just looks right. On a negative note, they are a little small. The dirt seems to gather around the outside of the mat. Granted, lots of dirt gets stuck in the mat which is what it is supposed to do. I guess the question is, would I buy these again? Absolutely.
